Worksite Assessment

The worksite service provides identification of the employment strengths and needs of an individual through full-time, part-time, and special project placements in an actual workplace. A Job Developer will network with the business community to seek a work placement.  Clients are required to assist in this process.  All new sites require a minimum of four weeks to attain and require the client to participate in the Interview stage.  

OBJECTIVE 

Depending on the needs of the client, this service may be used to: 

• provide employability assessments

• provide valuable work experience following a training program

• provide an employer reference following a work experience

• provide a graduated return to work program in order to build physical tolerance levels

LENGTH 

8 - 12 weeks.  Longer programs may be provided; however, CEO will not offer programs less than 6 weeks.

CRITERIA

Minimum of 3 hours per day is required on the job.

Job-site Analysis and Employment Accommodations are crucial elements to a successful return to work, job placement return to work, job placement and assessment.  Therefore, each job site is thoroughly examined to aid in the best match between the participant and employer.

Employment Assessment helps assess employment capabilities using a variety of evaluation tools and actual work placements.

Work Hardening helps the individual to build stamina and work tolerance levels, through a gradual increase of hours on the job.

Work Placement/Experience is at an industrial or service setting.
