Vocational Evaluation
The Vocational Evaluation focuses on abilities and employment potential via employment aptitudes and other screening assessments. The service is used to establish realistic job options for rehabilitation goal plans. A certified Vocational Evaluator will test and report on aptitudes, interests, transferable skills, needs, personal presentation, and employment related behaviors.
Components
Aptitude Testing uses standardized assessment tools to determine an individual's employment aptitudes and interests. As well, employment possibilities, realistic employment goals and areas which require further skills and development are highlighted.
Psycho-Vocational Assessment is used to determine an individual's employment aptitudes, psychological measurements, and physical tolerances. A series of psychological inventories are administered and interpreted by a registered psychologist.
Transferable Skills Analysis provides insight into employment-related skills through the used of various interest and reasoning assessments. Education, training, and personal vocational characteristics are an integral component in the identification of suitable employment options.
Assessment LENGTH
The length of the assessment will depend on the individual and the type of evaluation given. Generally, the Vocational Evaluation take 3-4 hours. A clinical interview and further testing is required for a Psychological component which may take an additional 2-3 hours.
Final reports will be delivered password protected by email within 6 business days.
